Allergan’s earnings up slightly thanks to breast implants and Botox

The LA Times says that “almost half of Allergan’s revenue comes from cosmetic treatments, led by Botox and breast implants, and investors have been concerned that consumers may use fewer of these products.”

Like many breast surgeons, Dr. Fouad Samaha does a lot of breast implants in Boston, and relies on both Allergan and Mentor breast implants. Allergan’s products compete directly with Mentor Corporation’s line of breast implants.
