About Dr. Samaha
Dr. Fouad Samaha’s warm, personal style has much to do with the fine reputation he has earned in the Boston community over the last 13 years. If one were a fly-on-the-wall during one of his private consultations, it would be evident how carefully he listens…how perceptive his questions are. Only in this way can he find just the right solution for each prospective patient’s concerns. In many cases, surgery is recommended. At those times, Dr. Samaha uses state-of-the-art techniques that have been proven safe and ultimately effective and allow him to create the most artistic results. But Dr. Samaha may also encourage clients to explore other progressive options to achieve their appearance goals. By combining meticulous, natural-looking surgery with state-of-the art medical skin rejuvenation techniques, the doctor creates masterful improvements to the face and body as well as a family of loyal patients who continue to refer loved ones to the practice.
Dr. Samaha's love of Plastic Surgery began while he was a medical student at the University of Virginia, where he was taught by such creative minds as Dr. Milton Edgerton, a pioneer in the field. After training in General Surgery in New York City at a Columbia University teaching hospital, he completed Plastic Surgery residency at Saint Louis University. This was followed by a fellowship in Hand Surgery and Microsurgery at the Buncke Clinic in San Francisco, where he was trained in some of the most complex reconstructive procedures. Dr. Samaha has authored a number of articles in peer-reviewed journals and has made presentations both locally and nationally.
Dr. Samaha has been in Plastic Surgery practice in Boston, and on Harvard Medical School's clinical faculty since 1993. He is on staff at the Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center, several hospitals on Boston's South Shore, and at Caritas Carney Hospital, where he serves as Chief of Plastic Surgery.
