Maureen Walls, RN

Maureen Walls, RN and Patient Coordinator at Boston Plastic Surgery says that the reason she believes the staff is so extraordinary is that Dr. Samaha has chosen each one for not just their professional expertise but, just as importantly, the way that they treat patients. From the friendly, helpful attitude at the front desk to sensitive post-surgery care, everyone on the team treats each patient like they are a part of the family. The staff is made up of mature, seasoned professionals with extensive experience in the field of cosmetic surgery.

Most of the staff has first-hand experience having had cosmetic surgery themselves. Maureen says, “Change is never easy and can be scary. We really understand that, especially when it’s in such an unfamiliar terrain like cosmetic surgery. Our job is to make each patient feel informed, comfortable,  and cared for. The experience should be as satisfying as the results.”

Maureen herself combines her extensive experience as a nurse with a genuine caring for people to help provide a safe and comfortable experience to all of our patients.

Debbie O'Brien, RN

Throughout her career as a surgical nurse, Debbie has exemplified the professionalism, organization, and dedication to quality that you want and expect from someone who is in that critical role of coordinating surgical services. Boston Plastic Surgery is very fortunate to have such a dedicated professional in charge of our perioperative care, meaning care before, during and after surgery. In addition to her extensive qualifications as an Operating Room nurse, Debbie is also a certified RN-First Assistant with special training in Plastic Surgery.

Kathy Antonowicz - Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician

Kathy specializes in skin care services, laser treatments, and hair removal. She provides skin care evaluations and helps our patients determine their skin care goals. She teaches home care to help her patients reach those goals, and provides a range of treatments to combat skin conditions (such as acne, rosacea, and uneven skin texture) and premature aging of the skin.

Kathy is a certified Electrologist and Electrology instructor, performing and teaching the technique for permanently removing unwanted hair from the face and body. She is also a laser instructor, who has taught many doctors and nurses how to use Cutera and Sciton lasers, and continues to contribute data to research studies underway pertaining to these technologies.

Kathy has been providing skin care services, laser and electrology treatments for over 16 years, and has worked with doctors for the past 26 years.

“I consider patient education the most important service I can offer to our patients. The latest, most innovative skin care products are now formulated to penetrate more deeply and are actually capable of restructuring the skin. They change your skin from the inside out, while you’re also treating it from the outside in. These are exciting developments in skin care, and I want our patients to understand the potential of the products and services we have for them."

anne

Anne M. Corey, Medical Aesthetician

Licensed since 2002, Anne Corey is a respected skin care specialist, known for her ability to customize a combination of clinical and holistic treatments for each of our patients. Prior to coming to Boston Plastic Surgery, she offered aesthetic services in a laser center on Newbury Street, as well as other spa settings.

Anne specializes in treating acne, rosacea, and skin that has been damaged from overexposure to the sun and other lifestyle habits that prematurely age the skin. She offers skin care consultations and individualized skin care plans to our patients, as well as laser procedures, chemical peels and pre- and post-operative skin care regimens. Using her extensive experience and training, Ann combines skin care products and treatments with clinical procedures, utilizing IPL and Laser Genesis Cutera technologies.

“I teach each of my patients how to do good home care, which supplements their treatments here in our center. They learn how to take care of the body from the inside out – with the right amount of fluids, the appropriate supplements, and the right foods.”

Anne points out that patients who have the right skin care plan and the motivation to follow-through will see a definite improvement in conditions that they’ve sometimes battled for years, such as acne, rosacea, skin discoloration, and fine lines.

Nicole Emery

By all accounts, Nicole has become the "anchor" for all administrative services at Boston Plastic Surgery. Her gentle nature, her unending energy, and her attention to detail combine to make her a great asset to our practice and a great resource for our patients. But if you want to get Nicole really excited, just talk to her about her UConn Huskies.

Donna Farmer

We are very fortunate to have Donna at the front desk, where her warm, friendly nature is the perfect way to be welcomed into our office.
