Why should I choose Boston Plastic Surgery for my breast augmentation?

First and foremost, because of the comfort level that you will experience when you meet Dr. Samaha and his staff. The personal, private and relaxed atmosphere of the office reflects Dr. Samaha’s personality. His thoroughness and attention to detail will also be evident in his approach and in his surgical results.

Dr. Samaha has had many years of surgical experience using both silicone and saline implants. He has been an investigator for implant manufacturers Mentor and Inamed in their Adjunct Studies of gel-filled implants. Should you decide on either type, you will benefit from Dr. Samaha’s expertise.

During our consultation, we explore the choices available for breast augmentation. You will have a full understanding of breast augmentation, and together we will design the procedure that will meet your needs.

Have you already had breast augmentation?

You may wish to have your saline implants replaced with the new silicone gel breast implants. Silicone gel implants are generally smoother, softer, and lighter than saline and have a softer, more natural feel and appearance. In 2006, the restrictions were lifted based on new, re-designed "cohesive gel" implants, and with the improvements in silicone implant technology, several excellent options are now on the market.

What will you look like after breast augmentation surgery?

Dr. Samaha uses “surgical simulation tools” with highly advanced computer software. “What will I look like after surgery?” is the number one question patients ask and the Axis 3D portrait system likely offers the best answer.

First, the system captures a 3D image of your body. Then it uses input from a variety of information sources to produce a visual prediction of your results. Click to learn more about the Axis 3D system.

Just for fun, you can also try Mentor's New You Visualizer on your own computer. Just upload a photo of yourself, and play with the visual editor.

Dr. Samaha is Keller Funnel Certified

Keller Funnel Certification Seal

An advancement in silicone breast augmentation delivery, the Keller Funnel™ is a soft, sterile device available throughout the United States.

How does the Keller Funnel improve the breast augmentation procedure?

Reduce incision lengths

Using the Keller Funnel™ enables Dr. Samaha to make smaller incisions, similar to those used for saline implants.

Increase your options for incision placement

Easier insertion through smaller openings offers more opportunities to conceal the incisions. This is especially useful for women who may scar easily.

Minimize the potential for implant damage

According to an engineering study conducted by Keller Medical, Inc., the Keller Funnel™ uses less force than traditional implant delivery methods. Less force means less stress on the implant shell, which reduces both short- and long-term complications associated with mishandled implants. **
