Comments

35-year-old woman who sustained significant laxity of her abdominal wall, as well as an umbilical hernia, after giving birth to 2 children. Her post-op photos are approximately 7 months after abdominoplasty with correction of the abdominal muscle separation and repair of the abdominal hernia with preservation of her belly button. Note the correction of the abdominal ‘bulge’ in this otherwise thin and fit woman, restoring her contour and proportions. The scars will continue to fade over the following few months. Her tan lines show that she has been able to wear a 2-piece bathing suit, something she would never have considered before.
